There are many ways that we can work together to help families in Anchorage.

Volunteering in the classroom or kitchen: Children in the classroom benefit greatly from individualized attention - if you can help read a story or help with art projects, or help prepare meals and clean up in the kitchen, that would greatly help our program!

Material needs: Our program wish list consists of replacing classroom tables and chairs, as well as improving our curriculum materials.  A donation of any size will help us purchase learning games and manipulatives for our children, thank you!

Our center would be able to serve our families more efficiently if we had a commercial dishwasher and a clothes washer and dryer on site. The cost estimate to purchase and install these items is $6,000.

Tax deductible donations: It is very difficult for single parents with one income to pay the childcare assistance co-payment of $125 per month. If you feel led to contribute to a one time or ongoing support for single parents for tuition help, a donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so very much and may God richly bless you! MaryEllen and staff of AVFRC
