The Anchorage Vineyard Family Resource Center provides job training opportunities through the Preschool Teacher   Certification Program (PTCP).  

The   PTCP program is an on the job training program with training and mentoring to earn a Child Development Associate (CDA) national preschool teaching credential.

Following the criteria for the CDA (www.cdacouncil.org), participants   accrue training hours, classroom hours, and develop a professional CDA Portfolio.   Candidates then participate in a formal assessment process, make application to the CDA Council, and complete visit with CDA Council Representative.    

Earning a CDA preschool teaching credential opens up doors for career advancement and earning potential, as well as improving the quality of education in early learning centers.    

Applicants must posesss a high school diploma or GED to qualify for this space available program.

Graduates of the   PTCP program may receive priority for full time employment at the Vineyard Early Learning Center and/or are assisted with job placement.   For more information, please call (907)   248-0808 and ask for the TPCP program.
